Martha Seide

Martha Siede is a speaker, storyteller, and the author of In Pursuit of Normal - a powerful reflection on life, identity, and what it truly means to be seen.

Living with cerebral palsy and navigating the world with curiosity, compassion, and a cracking sense of humour, Martha brings her lived experience to life in a way that’s deeply human and refreshingly honest. She’s passionate about shifting the way we view disability - not through pity, but through partnership.

As a training partner with the Support Worker Association of Australia, Martha helps support workers understand the impact of their role through personal stories, practical wisdom, and a whole lot of heart. Her work is a reminder that the best support starts with listening.

"Disability has always been part of my story – but it’s never been the whole story."
